I cant believe the time has come for Joe to go to school. It only seems like yesterday I handed him over to Mel in the baby room when he was just 1year old.
Joe has had the best time ever at the nursery, he has always come in with a skip and a smile – never any tears! As an August baby I feel the love, care and development Joe has had at the nursery has set him up perfectly for school and he will be up there with the older ones.
So although it is sad for me that my baby goes to school, it’s not goodbye, as you’ll still have the other rugrat to contend with!
Thank you for a wonderful 3 years!

A short note to thank you for your part in making Elliot flourish over the last two and a half years. He loves this place and that is due in large part to your care and professionalism, but also to the fact that you all seem to genuinely love what you do.
You have gone the extra mile with trips to markets, parks and Odds Farm (favourite) and the library – this has given Elliot and us many happy memories.
We wish you the best of luck with the future and we are positive that 1000’s more happy kids will pass through these doors.
We could not have done it without you.

Peter and the Nursery
Peter is my first child. He started attending the nursery a year ago when he was 13 months old as I had to return to work. I chose Marlow Day Nursery after visiting it once. My first impression was of a very homely, caring, professional environment with very competent staff. I was able to communicate openly with them about my fears about leaving Peter. Initially I hated leaving him and felt that I was abandoning him. Maternal guilt was overwhelming and I would walk home swearing through my tears.
Thankfully, Peter settled very quickly in to ‘Penguins’. The staff were happy to speak to me when I phoned and would reassure me that Peter was fine. They gave me full daily reports at home time. I always felt that they were honest with me and Peter was clearly very settled with them.
Peter suffered a medical emergency one day at nursery. The staff liaised with me and called 999. They were absolutely fantastic and looked after Peter until I arrived. Peter has a chronic condition and the staff now medicate him as required.
Peter has been in ‘Dolphins’ for a while now. He is always keen to go to nursery and has lots of fun. He particularly enjoys playing outside in the ‘big cars’. He enjoys using his imagination and likes having cuddles from all the staff. He is a quiet little boy who likes joining in with the varied activities especially mealtimes. His favourite food is soup and he often has 100% plus seconds!
Nursery has helped Peter to grow in so many ways including his social skills, communication and confidence. I believe very strongly that nursery continues to have a very strong, positive impact on Peter. I still hate leaving him but know that he is very happy and relaxed. I trust the staff absolutely and feel very reassured knowing that my lovely little boy is so well looked after.
We chose Marlow Day Nursery following recommendations from friends whose children had attended. We are confident we made the right decision.
Reuben loves coming to Nursery, and we love to bring him. There is always a smiling face to greet you. The staff are experienced and caring and committed to making sure your child is happy and settled. They are a vital part of making Marlow Day Nursery into the special place it is.
Reuben enjoys his trips to market to buy the ingredients for lunch. He loves to eat with his friends at nursery which encourages him to be adventurous with his choice of snacks – (I'm not sure he would try pilchards at home!) He loves the singing and the music and there is always a new and exciting activity on offer to try. Reuben's favourite things about Nursery are the special friends he has made.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

"My little sister Thea follows in my footsteps, quite literally! So when I told her all about the fun 3 years I had enjoyed at Marlow Day Nursery, she was very excited to be starting when mum went back to work. When she started in Penguins at 12 months she even had the same key worker I had at that stage, which mum and dad were very pleased about, it has been great to have the same key staff and for Thea to get to know all their friendly faces like I did! I am at big school now in Reception, Marlow Day Nursery and in particular my time in Jellyfish was a good foundation for school, we had register in the mornings, our own trays to keep all our art work in, I loved French on Wednesdays and enjoyed end of year Sports Day. I learnt how to respect and listen to my teacher, to socialise, interact, share and make friends.
Thea has settled in really well, we knew she would, it's a safe, caring and nurturing environment, with activity packed fun-filled day, lots of great outdoor space to play and run around in too! Delicious food, with seconds always available, macaroni cheese is Thea's favourite. A dedicated, sensitive and friendly staff team, always on hand, have helped to make her transition to nursery an enjoyable experience, no tears or upset on arrival, she looks forward to what the day has in store for her! Thank you Marlow Day Nursery!"
